Braw Talent CIC Equality & Diversity Policy
1. Introduction
At Braw Talent CIC, we are dedicated to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment that values equality, diversity, and respect for all. We are committed to promoting equal opportunities across all levels of our organisation and ensuring that discrimination, in any form, is not tolerated.
2. Definitions
- Braw Talent CIC, Company, we, us, or our: Refers to Braw Talent CIC.
- Staff: Encompasses employees, contractors, partner facilitators, workers, and volunteers—everyone involved in delivering Braw Talent’s services.
- Service Users: Refers to client organisations and their beneficiaries who participate in our projects.
3. Policy Commitments
Braw Talent CIC is committed to promoting equality and diversity for all staff and service users. Our goal is to create an environment that encourages fairness, mutual respect, and inclusivity, regardless of any protected characteristics.
To achieve this, we commit to the following:
- Equal Treatment: We will treat all staff, service users, and others we engage with fairly and without discrimination on the grounds of gender, sexual orientation, marital or civil partnership status, race, nationality, ethnic or national origin, religion, age, or disability.
- Non-Discriminatory Practices: We will not impose any requirement, condition, or practice that unfairly disadvantages individuals based on the characteristics mentioned above, except where it is necessary and can be objectively justified.
- Respect and Fairness in Service Delivery: We will provide services equitably to all, ensuring that all individuals who come into contact with Braw Talent CIC are treated with dignity, respect, and impartiality.

- Compliance with Equality Law: We will adhere to the requirements of the Equality Act 2010 and other relevant equality legislation.
- Complaint Mechanisms: We have clear and accessible mechanisms in place to address and resolve complaints related to discrimination or harassment from staff, service users, and members of the public.
4. Responsibilities
- Organisation Responsibility: Braw Talent CIC is responsible for ensuring that this policy is implemented effectively across the organisation and that all staff are aware of their rights and responsibilities under this policy.
- Staff Responsibility: All staff members are required to accept their personal responsibility for upholding this policy. Failure to comply with the policy may result in disciplinary action. Serious breaches of the policy will be treated as gross misconduct.
5. Reporting and Resolving Complaints
If you experience or witness any form of discrimination, harassment, or inequality, we encourage you to raise your concerns. Complaints related to equal opportunities should be directed to one of Braw Talent CIC’s directors, who will handle the matter confidentially and in line with our grievance procedures.

6. Policy Review
